Hi, everyone! My name is Nicole (or Niki, I answer to both!) and Mackenzie is my daughter. This is her first trip with P2P, and she is VERY excited!
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of friends in Direct Sales, so I put together a Lia Sophia Party and invited all my friends on Facebook, even the ones out of state! The ones living near me can come and order items they want from Lia Sophia, and the ones that can't make it or live too far can place an order online. THEY get great stuff, and my Lia Sophia friend is giving Mackenzie 25% of all the profit earned to go towards her trip! Plus, she made a deal with us that for every show booked, she would personally donate $20 for each booking.
We are also going to be heading over to Surf Taco a our local Ice Cream Shop and see if they will do a "Mackenzie Day", where people will bring in flyers, and both businesses will donate a percentage of sales that day towards her trip!
I have also signed on to help our Delegation with fundraising ideas with a new program that is being launched with P2P!
I am looking very forward to getting to know you all!!

Hi! I'm Cynthia, Zacharias' mother. He goes by Zach. This is our first experience with P2P, and like Mackenzie, Zach is EXCITED!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your ideas, Niki. They will be helpful. We've been busy fundraising. Praying that we are able to get a good portion of the trip covered.
We've been doing a "Baking to Bless" initiative for Zach. I set up a website at: http://zach.digitalee.com and http://baking.digitalee.com. Both go to the same place. Offering cakes, breads, gift baskets, etc. We've hung up signs and passed the url around to family and friends. Our most recent effort is getting together Valentine baskets for February. Hoping to get good results.
If anyone wants to see a copy of the flyers that I've posted, let me know and I'll email them.
We also do a lot of Game Nights as a family, so we are looking into some kind of Game Night fundraiser that we may be able to organize. Thinking this may be a good idea though, to do as a combined effort or a larger group, provided we can all find a venue. Let me know if anyone is interested in hearing more about this.
